Privacy Policy

Credline is a monthly money check-in for young, first-time earners in India. It does not connect to your bank account, read your SMS messages, or track daily transactions. Everything it knows about your finances is what you choose to tell it, once a month.

Account information: your name and email address.

Baseline information (collected once, editable anytime): rough monthly income and expenses, emergency fund size, total debt, whether you have health insurance, whether you invest, and which day your salary usually lands.

Monthly check-in answers: your bank balance on check-in day (used only to calculate that month's spending — never stored as a transaction history), updates to the same categories above, and how you say you're feeling about money that month.

Solely to show you your own financial pillars, your confidence score, and how both change over time — and, if you turn it on, to send you a monthly reminder notification on your chosen check-in day. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build any profile of you beyond what you can see yourself in the app.

All data is stored on infrastructure located in India (Mumbai region). We do not transfer your personal data outside India.

Nobody. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. The only party that processes your data on our behalf is our database and authentication provider, strictly to run the app — they don't use it for anything else.

Under the DPDP Act, and built directly into the app itself:

• Export everything we hold about you, anytime, from Settings.
• Correct any baseline or check-in answer yourself, whenever you like.
• Delete your account and all associated data permanently, from Settings — no waiting period, no questions asked.
• Raise a grievance or ask a question by writing to the contact below.

Every user can only ever access their own data — this is enforced at the database level (Row Level Security), not just in the app. The app itself only ever holds a limited-permission access key, never a master key to the database.

Credline is intended for adults (18 and over) managing their own income. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is used, we'll let you know before the change takes effect.
